Melanie, photographer

Classically trained in film photography and fine art,  I have been using digital photography as a key medium for capturing families, weddings and  portraits for over 8 years. It is truly a love and a passion of mine and I am ever fascinated by the advances in the field that lead to endless creativity. I draw my inspiration from the latest fashion trends. I’ve always loved fashion and studied fashion design briefly before I discovered my true passion in creating fashion-inspired photography. I love to create images that have a layer of quiet mystery as much as capturing moments of genuine emotion and the details that say so much about the people I photograph. I have a relaxed contemporary style.  I am known for going beyond the traditional portrait and bring an artful eye to all the images I create with you.

My specialties include weddings, boudoir and maternity boudoir portraiture, but I am often commissioned by my clients to also capture their families on an annual basis and beautiful newborns.
