{Lisa & Ryan -engaged!}- Ottawa wedding photographers

Lisa and Ryan will be married this June at the Schoolhouse in Munster for an intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family- an appropriate setting for these two school teachers. We had a wonderful light chasing engagement session in downtown Ottawa and the Byward market. We had a great time shooting this session…only a few bugs bites by the river…but for light like that..worth it…thank you both very much for an amazing evening!

{Ottawa Boudoir Photography} Ottawa Boudoir Photographers

Boudoir sessions can be a huge boost to a woman’s confidence. It is one of the most rewarding things for me as a photographer to see the moment a woman totally trusts me to see her as more beautiful than she can imagine herself, and for her to see herself as truly beautiful in her images…it’s awesome.

Many of my clients start their sessions as a gift for someone else, but in the end, they truly feel that the gift is to themselves as well. This session is for one lucky 2010 groom! Thank you to my wonderful client for letting me share some of her intimate images with you.

Thank you also to Chapeaux de Madeline in the Byward Market for providing her lovely couture headpieces. Please visit her to see more of her stunning bridal veils and head pieces. Thanks also to Victoire in the Byward market for providing the lovely vintage furniture and jewelry.

 WHAT THE CLIENT SAID:
After her session: “Melanie, I had an amazing time and by doing this I feel so much more confident. You, Lori(hair) and Jill(make-up) made me feel and look like a million bucks! A huge thank you for putting me at ease and making the whole photo session so much fun. I will definitely recommend this to my girlfriends!”
After she received her images: “The pictures look AMAZING!!!! Love them! You are so talented! I can’t believe how great they look and I must say I’m a bit shocked that that’s me in those photos 😉 My fiance will be blown away once he sees them!”
